ABOUT THE HERBAL CHEF:

The Herbal Chef creates intriguing and delectable food first and infuses it with cannabis second, allowing him to cater to both infused and non infused events. Chris has trained under Southern California’s best chefs at Michelin star restaurants. While based out of California, Chris will travel anywhere to cater your next upscale event so long as travel expenses are paid!

FOOD MENU:

The menu is based off of your location and season. The chef will scout the event location to connect with local farmers to see what they have available. Each guest will receive a questionnaire which will assist the chef in creating the perfect dining experience! All menus will have what is seasonally available, so you are assured that nothing is frozen or preserved. All produce is purchased from either the local farms directly, or from farmers markets, with a conscious effort to buy from sustainable farms. All ingredients are hand picked and will be purchased no more than 3 days in advance for optimal freshness.

 

THE DINING EXPERIENCE:
All dinners include a fine wine pairing that accompanies each of the courses. In addition to the quality of the food I prepare I make sure that every detail is handled with the utmost in care, from the table setting to the drinks. Plus, this entire experience happens in the comfort and safety of your very own home. How cool is that? I promise that my passion for cooking and my attention to detail will make your dining experience unlike any other. Everything I get for a dinner must be used that day. This is actually a good thing, because it guarantees my diners enjoy the freshest of ingredients. Finally, I always make sure to leave my customers a few take-aways like edibles, cheese boards, or other treats.

 

CANNABIS INFUSED FINE DINING:

Every course has a component infused with THC so that you get anywhere from 1-15mg in each course (depending on how medicated you want to be and how many courses). The reason I do this is so that you do not get the overwhelmingly strong high that one can get from eating an edible. It’s a nice gradual high that provides a most enjoyable ride. None of the flavors are overpowering. The most important thing to me is that the integrity of the food is kept. It’s fun to watch the evening evolve. In the beginning, everyone is talkative and excited and by the end everybody is all happy and giggly on the couch. It’s a great transition.

PRICE:

Prices vary based on the amount of courses, types of food and the number of people. However, the price generally ranges from $200 to $500 a person.
